When I leave
And you have left
Where, do we say goodbye?

Silent Song

I write a silent song
In my head
To you, and you
And You
But you are all the same
The face I cannot forget
Being, of my dreams
Thought, of my days, only
Carving, this chest
For You
To produce an incomplete
Bleeding, heart
Though the mirror shows no scars
At night
These seething, dark, wounds
Hurt, with a dull pain
Like the blunt blade all over again
Yet will remain, [...]

Why do we
Wade
In sadness
When the shore is just behind?
Wake

I could sleep six hours, till noon
But it still wouldn’t be enough time
Waking, is being away, from you.

Tell me
Where did I lose you?
When did I let go of you?
When was it that I fell in love
With your reflection
Without you, there, beside me?
Why does it matter?

“Do you miss her?”
“Everyday.”
“Even while she was here?”
“Yes.”

Stepping off the walkway
Onto the gravel, dying grass
I choose my path
On uneven ground
Footsteps, untaken, unchartered
Where the only trail
Is the one I’ve left behind.

He pricks
His finger
With a thorn
Of an angry rose
Draws an incomplete
Heart
On a card
Carefully chosen
In blood
Saying: ” This is
A piece
Of me
Now it is yours.”

Perhaps
You are like
The residual light
That lingers, and
Fades away.
Perhaps
You will
Shine, endlessly.
Perhaps
It makes no difference
To one who cannot see.

Midway stop
Of destinations, countless
Of the
Terminally leaving,
Dearly departing
Trasit of lost
Dreams, and sadness
Last call
Closing gates
Arrival/departure
Of you, me, everyone
No one
That disappears
Into silence, with
The muted roar, of flight
Behind the thick glass
Where I say goodbye.
